ProblemPubs are one of the few places where people feel safe to show a wide range of emotions
InsightYou don’t have to always be happy in your happy place
Idea“Where Happiness Looks Different”
As part of this campaign’s social extension, Penny Lane Pub captures Polaroids of the most devastated fans and the most ecstatic victors during major games shown at the pub. The photos are shared on Instagram and displayed in-store on a corkboard surrounded by British and Liverpool memorabilia. As the board fills, it becomes a living archive of the pub’s patrons—showcasing that at Penny Lane, happiness takes many forms.
Since pub sensibilities aren’t always appreciated back home, we created the Penny Lane Pub Yearbook—a keepsake that feels more like a coffee table book than bar memorabilia. Designed with an elevated cover and clean layout, it honors the lore, legends, and laugh-out-loud moments that defined the year. Inside, you'll find stories of VIP regulars, surprise celebrity visits, and the kind of character only a pub like Penny Lane could produce.
More than a jersey, it’s a symbol of belonging. Inspired by vintage football kits and the camaraderie of pub culture, the Penny Lane Pub jersey was made for the regulars—the ones who know their order, their table, and everyone’s name by heart.
