Howdy!

Christian "CT" Rivera

I come from an unconventional place and an untraditional path. I grew up in El Paso, Texas—a border city where cultures, languages, and perspectives constantly overlap. In a place like that, storytelling isn’t just for show—it’s how people connect. It’s social currency.

While studying marketing and business, I got certified as an EMT and worked for a hospital—where I learned to stay calm, communicate clearly, and think on my feet. Later, I picked up a camera and worked as a videographer, building an eye for rhythm and visual storytelling.

Now, I’m an Art Director who thinks like a strategist, shoots like a filmmaker, and questions like a philosopher. I bring logic, instinct, and craft to every part of the process—whether it’s building a concept, shaping a visual system, or getting scrappy behind the camera. I’m not precious about tools or titles—just focused on making the best idea win.

I treat every project like a custom problem to solve—built for the brand and grounded in how people actually engage. I stay current with trends, but care more about ideas that last—ones built with clarity, intent, and a point of view.

I’m also drawn to where creativity meets technology. I try new tools as they drop—adding to my process or recommending what works. AI isn’t going anywhere. The creatives who learn to use it well are going to shape what’s next.

Right now, I’m focused on making work that feels less like an ad—and more like something people choose to spend time with. If that’s your thing too, let’s chat.
